How Did I Start

I'm sure that most bloggers did not start writing with keyboard, that includes me. I started to develop the love of writing when I was in grade 6. Our teacher asked us to write a diary for our writing class. I can still remember my entry, they are all about every routine. I continued to write until I was in 2nd year in high school, somehow cute boys worth my time more than my diary.

I pick the diary and pen again when I was in the university, this time things are all about the guy next to me, how the teacher always match and coordinate everything based on colors (including her nail polish). It was fun until I can't do it anymore, I don't have much time specially my last year.

Then here I am again, I guess once a writer always a writer. This time I'm sure I have the time to maintain it, no more getting bored and no more school to get on my way of blogging. :)

Well I did not start writing with keyboard like the others but I am here now and I will be for a long time :)

  2. I guess I'm one of those who started developing creative writing and journalism skills using keyboard. But only because journalism in highschool is the only best way to get high rate curricular activities for our final grades and ranking. Hihi But then again, i will always be thankful! :)

  3. I started also with just a paper-based diary during my elementary days. It was where I wrote my pains and laughter. When blogs came in, I didn't immediately accepted the idea because I thought I can bring my diary wherever I go and it can be kept secret. However with much features and reach, blogs are great to keep as well.

  4. I also started with pen and paper back in grade school until my high school, as a writer and editor for the school paper. It didn't stop until mid-College, but since I was already becoming too busy with thesis, I had to stop. Glad that we've both found an avenue to writing through blogging :) Cheers to more years of writing, now with the keyboard!

    1. you are lucky to be given a chance to work with the school paper, my poor spelling ability did not get me near that thing back in high school :(

  5. I started writing when I was in Elementary when I was tasked with my classmate to write an article. Since then, I felt like I have done something really good. The thing is, whenever there are exams, my favorite part is the essay as I can rake high points and it's the only time I can show my skills in writing by using the right words in the right situation.

And many thanks to blogging and for the blogs I read. My writing skills improved gradually and my goal is still to write for my readers to be informed with facts and interesting stories.

  7. I also had a diary before. Like you, all it contained were routines and observations on my everyday life. I'd been a staff writer way back in highschool then created a friendster blog in college. It's fun to write, right? :)

  8. I also keep a diary which started when I was in high school, there were several but I kept only one which I sometimes read to reminisce those happy days I wrote in it. Good thing there is a mobile gadget now that it is so easy to write anytime and anywhere you want.

  12. I also started with paper ;) I love diaries because I was a sort-of loner at school even when I have a number of friends. The diary was my outlet, my best friend. Computers were around when I was in high school pero WORD STAR pa yung gamit namin! haha This generation is so lucky now :D

You should blog and stay ;) I'm one of those who blog and drop but am enjoying blogging now - been blogging straight for 3 months now :D
